I am excited to bring my leadership experience and passion for teaching and learning to Madie Ives K- 8 Preparatory Academy. My vision is to create lifelong learners in a positive, nurturing environment while building great relationships with students, staff, families, and the stakeholders within the community. Here at Madie Ives K – 8 Preparatory Academy, our motto is that we are “In Pursuit of Excellence. I believe that education should be holistic to effectively prepare a child for today’s world. I am excited and eager to work with each one of you this coming school year as we celebrate our academic achievement and in providing 21st century education to families in this great city. I also strongly believe that our continued success relies on our instructional staff who are consistently utilizing the best pedagogical approaches to increase learning, infuse Cutting Edge Technology, instructional strategies in our daily practices. This continued success is dependent upon the support provided by the administration, transformation coaches, support staff, the professional developments and common planning sessions for erective implementation the content in the classrooms. It was through this mindset that we include STEM related courses and other Brain Based Projects in our school’s curriculum.
